North Carolina International Science Challenge and North Carolina SMT Awards ↴
December deadlines approach for NCISC and 2024 SMT Awards
The N.C. Science, Mathematics, Technology (SMT) Center has two
incredible opportunities for you in 2024. Applications are now open for the 2024 N.C. International Science Challenge
(NCISC), which is a yearly competition that connects North Carolina
high school students with their peers from all over the world in order
to share scientific discoveries on an international stage. Deadline to apply is Dec. 3. Additionally, the SMT Awards
offered annually recognize individuals and organizations whose
extraordinary contributions to STEM education in North Carolina are helping
to advance the mission of the SMT Center. Nominations are now being accepted through Dec. 1. Recipients will be honored in the spring at the Celebration of Science, Mathematics, and Technology.
