Almost time for the North Carolina Science Festival
In anticipation of this year's 14th Annual North Carolina Science Festival (NCSciFest), Gov. Roy Cooper has declared April 2024 STEM Education Month in North Carolina. The proclamation made on Wednesday (March 20) marks the beginning of the country’s premier statewide celebration of science. A festival is a period of celebration! With so much to cover an entire month is needed to do our state's science celebration justice. With more than 400 events scheduled throughout the state, you are sure to find one in your backyard! Additionally, each year, NCSciFest features some special opportunities for participants. Check out some of these other great ways to get involved. The goal of the NC Science Festival is to help spread science education through exciting, educational and fun, hands-on science events. The educational, cultural and financial impact of science affects all North Carolinians, and this is one way to make sure that continues for future generations. Happy Spring! Happy Science!
