Important storm information from emergency management

dps.jpgNorth Carolina Emergency Management works to enhance the state's resiliency by actively collaborating, communicating and coordinating to prevent, mitigate, respond and recover from disasters. At this time, it is being recommended to refrain from sending volunteers to Western North Carolina in order to keep critical supply lines open. Before heading west, reach out first to the N.C. Emergency Management Operations Center at (919) 825-2564. Tell them what materials/services you want to offer, and they will direct you where and to whom to provide the materials/services.
