State's biggest celebration of science runs all month long with events for all ages! ↴
North Carolina Science Festival gets underway
In anticipation of this year's 15th Annual North Carolina Science Festival, Gov. Josh Stein has proclaimed that April 2025 is officially STEM Education Month in North Carolina. The proclamation marks the beginning of the country’s premier statewide celebration of science. With more than 500 events now listed and scheduled throughout all 100 counties in the state this month, you are sure to find one in your backyard! Find events. Each year, NCSciFest also features some special opportunities for participants. Additionally, you also can check out some of these other great ways to get involved. The goal of the North Carolina Science Festival is to help spread science education through exciting, educational, and hands-on science events. The educational, cultural and financial impact of science affects all North Carolinians, and this is one way to make sure that continues for future generations. Happy Spring! Happy Science!
