Annual awards recognize outstanding K-12 science and STEM educators ↴
Applications open for 2025–2026 NSTA Awards
The National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Awards Program. NSTA Awards honor K–12 educators for their outstanding work and achievement in science and STEM education. In addition to receiving cash and prizes, all awardees will be formally recognized during the NSTA National Conference on Science Education on April 15-18, 2026. Applications are due by Dec. 19. To apply or nominate someone for an award, visit the NSTA Awards Program website.

Digital Drive 2025 celebrates effort to help close digital divide
The N.C. Department of Information Technology’s Division of Broadband and Digital Opportunity, in partnership with the Kramden Institute and the NC TECH Association, is celebrating the success of Digital Drive 2025. The one-day event in Raleigh collected 155 computers, cell phones and other surplus technology that Kramden Institute will securely wipe, refurbish if usable, and distribute to North Carolina residents who currently lack a home computer. → Read more
